Sidi Saiyad ni Jali

The Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, built in 1573, is one of the most famous mosques of Ahmedabad. As attested by the marble tablet fixed on the wall of the mosque, it was built by Sidi Saeed or Sidi Saiyyed, an Abyssinian in the retinue of Bilal Jhajar Khan, general in the army of the last Sultan Shams-ud-Din Muzaffar Shah III of the Gujarat Sultanate.

Sarkhej Roza

Sarkhej Roza is a mosque and tomb complex located in the village of Makaraba, 7 km south-west of Ahmedabad in Gujarat state, India. The complex is known as "Ahmedabad's Acropolis", due to 20th century architect Le Corbusier's famous comparison of this mosque's design to the Acropolis of Athens.

Akshardham Temple

Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gandhinagar, Gujarat is a large Hindu temple complex inspired by Pramukh Swami, the current spiritual head of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. Located in the capital of Gujarat, the complex was built over 13 years and is a tribute to Swaminarayan and his life and teachings.

Sabarmati Ashram

Sabarmati Ashram is located in the Sabarmati suburb of Ahmedabad, adjoining the Ashram Road, on the banks of the River Sabarmati, four miles from the town hall. This was one of the residences of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, generally called Mahatma Gandhi, who lived there for about twelve years along with his wife, Kasturba Gandhi.

Kite Museum

The Kite Museum was founded by Bhanubhai Shah for displaying his collection of rare kites, which he built up over 50 years. In this museum you can catch a glimpse of huge kites. Some of the other kites in this museum were crafted with sequences of garba dances, mirror work and block prints.

Vintage Car Museum

Shri Pranlal Bhogilal is a connoisseur of vintage cars. He has converted his private collection of vintage cars into a museum named Auto World Vintage Car Museum at Dastan Farm House. The museum has a collection of more than 100 cars.
